How Our Puppies Are Raised

We follow the Bad Ass Breeder curriculum with our puppies. Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) is started when they're 3 days old and is continued daily until day 16. This provides stimulation to their endocrine system and is known to give them the ability to deal with stressful events as well as increase their cardiovascular performance and have a greater resistance to disease. Early Scent Introduction (ESI) is also started at day 3 and continued daily until day 16. This enhances their ability to identify and react to specific scents. We also introduce the 10-step handling exercise when pups are 3 weeks old. This allows them to easily adapt to different types of touch and acclimate their transition to the forever home.

Training

The first 8 weeks of puppies' lives are extremely important and will shape how puppies will develop and grow.

Potty Training

We keep their potty area clean and separate from their eat, sleep, and play area. This allows them to learn to potty train easier.

Socialization

Our puppies are well socialized with our 4 children, who will spend a lot of time with them. They will be around our other 2 dogs as well. They will be wonderful puppies for families with children and other dogs.

Crate Training

Our puppies will be introduced to crates when they're 4 weeks old. By the time they're ready to go home with you, they will be sleeping through the night in a crate. This helps the transition to your home easier for them and you.

Sights & Sounds

Our puppies are introduced to new textures, sounds, and sights daily. They will be around normal noise in our home, as well as music played daily. They are also introduced to fireworks, alarms, sirens, etc. so they won't be scared when taken in the outside world or of new people.
