Our Mamas Are the Foundation of Everything We Do
Our program is built on love, connection, and temperament — and it all began with our heart dog, Sadie. Her daughter Lucy carries on that same intuitive, gentle personality that inspired the way we raise and select every dog in our program today.
Our mamas live inside our home or a guardian home as loved family companions first. They are never housed in kennels, and their puppies are raised with structure, early socialization, emotional connection, and so much intention.
We choose each mama for:

• predictable, low-to-non shedding coats
They represent everything we want our puppies to become — loving, stable, confident, and perfectly suited for family life.
Sadie- The Heart Behind Our Program

Sadie is the dog who inspired our entire program. Her gentle spirit, deep emotional awareness, and strong bond with our children laid the foundation for everything Gracious Doodle Dogs is today. She is intuitive, calm, wise, and incredibly connected — the kind of dog who feels like she understands your heart before you ever speak a word.
Sadie’s influence lives in every puppy we raise. She set the standard for the temperament, softness, and emotional depth we want all our mamas to have.

Lucy is everything we loved in Sadie, wrapped into a smaller frame. She is bubbly, affectionate, and incredibly human-oriented. Her temperament is consistent, stable, and intuitive — she loves children, thrives on connection, and has a gentle softness that makes her puppies wonderfully suited for families.
Lucy brings structure, beauty, and predictability to our program while carrying forward Sadie’s signature sweetness. She will play, cuddle, and melt into your arms — and she passes that same emotional availability onto her babies.
