Gracious Doodle Dogs began with a love for dogs, family, and the belief that thoughtfully raised puppies can have a profound impact on the lives they join. What started as a personal journey has grown into an intentional, family-centered breeding program built on care, responsibility, and heart.
Why This Program Matters to Me
Sadie has always been more than just a dog to me — she is my heart dog. Long before I ever imagined building a breeding program, she showed me the quiet, powerful role a dog can play in a family. During a time when my son, who has a disability, was struggling in ways that were hard to put into words, Sadie seemed to understand without being taught. She stayed close to him, offered comfort without pressure, and provided a sense of calm and connection when he needed it most.

Watching that bond unfold changed me. It showed me that dogs don’t just live alongside us — they can support, regulate, and heal in ways that are deeply intuitive. That experience became the foundation of what I believe matters most when raising dogs: temperament, emotional awareness, and the ability to truly connect with the people they love.
Alongside this journey, I have spent over two decades working in healthcare. Caring for people during vulnerable moments has shaped the way I approach everything I do. It has taught me the importance of compassion, patience, education, and meeting individuals where they are — lessons that translate naturally into how I raise dogs and support families. I understand how deeply life circumstances, health challenges, and emotional needs can impact a household, and I carry that understanding into my work every day.
